CSD Hannover 2024

Im Namen der Schwulen Sau Hannover wurde ich beauftragt einen 45min Entertainmentslot auf der Hauptbühne auf dem Opernplatz zu füllen! Zusammen mit Judith Bloch, Alexander Rehwagen, Calvin Zarnack und Markus Ottenberg stellten wir ein Bühnenprogramm auf die Beine mit unseren Lieblingssongs der queeren Szene. Am 18.05.2024 traten wir mit unserem Programm auf:

These go out to every little boy trying desperately to suppress any type of body motion, gesture and behavior that might be considered too feminine for a man. To every person that walks past me and draws strength from me because they themselves have not found their inner strength yet: I’m here to take the threats, the aggression, the insults and the discrimination. I will do so until you feel comfortable enough to stand beside me! I’d rather be dead than submitting to a society’s sensibilities that is actively working against me.

I’m not strong despite of my queerness – I’m strong because of it!
